“WHOSE STREETS?…OUR STREETS!” These words were chanted by 200 something riders on Saturday August 1st 2015. The event is called Clitoral Mass and it is hosted by Boyle Heights Latinx group Ovarian Psychos. This year I had the pleasure to volunteer and ride with them and see Women, Trans, Gender Non Conforming folx from all walks of life take to the streets.

It is no secret that bike culture has taken Southern California by storm, often dominated by white males, but it also very heartwarming when you s11844991_457338147807220_6612339966499381317_oee our people join in on the festivities. Although not many Black riders were present, it was still a pleasure to mingle, ride, chant, and make sure that my fellow riders were hydrated and enjoying themselves.
